Zakrzowek Jump Jam - Water Jam

It was the 4th time that we organized the Zakrzowek Jump Jam competition in our quarry Zakrzowek. It was a perfect Sunday, sunny and warm. Over 100 people were watching us and the water was about 20 degrees Celcius so everything was perfect!

The first time that I hit the jump, I threw a big table, after that the next riders start jumping, and the tricks started flowing too - 360's, tailwhips, backflips, for the start. After a few more jumps we started doing bigger tricks - 360 no hander by Kawula, 2 x backflip by Kuciel, 360 backflips by Jaws and Suski, flatspins and other variations. During the competition the Police came and looked at us, so we talked to them and they gave us a last warning to not jump into the water, but we don't know why hahaha.

So after finals riders set up places like: 3rd place for Adrian Kuciel 2nd place for Krzysztof Kawula(exequo with Jaws) and 1st place for Lukasz Suski.

This is the forth annual and people were jumping into lakes long before Pastrana made it "cool".

was it very hard to get your bikes back after you went into the water? those are some pretty cool pictures.

No. Bikes USUALLY just swam, or at least were staying on the surface, so that you could have easily got to the shore. I said usually, because few bikes sank, but there was a guy who dived and got it back. Wink

I tried jumping off a dock with a 4' high jump.... hitting the water wrong even from that height hurts big time... these boys have some balls..... or at least they did? lol
